Multicoloured
- Improving the graphic profile of the village -

The designers/ designer students explored the characteristic motifs and specialities of the place while studying the nearly thousand-year history of the village. The history, symbols, shield of the church is appropriate to improve the graphic profile of the village. The designers tried to achieve a harmonious synthesis of the various cultural traditions and symbols deriving from the many nationalities that originally lived in the village. The broken tower could be a characteristic point of the cultural region by playing with lights. The most important suggestion of the section was that Traktér should be re-established as a new cultural centre. The building and the still standing walls of Traktér must be renovated, paths and pavements must be covered with small stones, and the park must be looked after. This way the symbolic building of Traktér maintains its deserved role. The suggestion paid attention to the limited financial possibilities of the local government. Later the complete renovation could be aimed.

Connection
- Designing the bridge and its environment -

The section suggested new establishments along the waterfront of Bodrog and new functions of the harbour. An outdoor theatre facing the village will be established together with a promenade running along the waterfront. The church, the street of Traktér, the promenade, the outdoor theatre and the harbour create a circle that returns to the starting point, to the church. The footbridge that joins the village and the nature reservation has a characteristic shape. The nature reservation involves many possibilities, so it could become a centre of tourism.

New ferry
- Re-design the existing ferry -

Re-designing the ferry involved the re-thinking of its functions and mechanical principles. The idea of a ferry floating on air-tanks was based on the bionic principle of water insects. This way the whole machinery becomes lighter that will ease the actuation of the ferry as well. An idea came up that the ferry could be self-service, so the individual people could manoeuvre it, too. It would be easier to go to the nature reservation by this kind of ferry.

Relax
- Water tourism and harbour -

There is already water tourism in Olaszliszka, but the development of the pier of the harbour and its surroundings broadens the range of possibilities of water sports. The idea of a 20-25 metres long pool lowered into the water on the waterfront of Bodrog at the harbour gives the possibility of bathing in summer. This idea can be completed with the establishment of canteens and occasions for boat trips, which leads to the appearance of many new ventures.
